Paul Melendez has been with the Eller College of Management since 1996. He earned his doctorate from the University of Arizona with a specialization in privatization. As a professor of practice, he teaches courses in business ethics, international management, organizational behavior, human resources and innovation. He has led academic programs to emerging economies in South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He consults for clients around the world on ethical decision making, transformational leadershiand innovation. As assistant department head, he is primarily responsible for the undergraduate and MBA program curriculum and overseeing teaching assignments for management courses. As founder of the Center for LeadershiEthics, he leads efforts to improve organizational ethics through cutting-edge research, education and outreach programs. Melendez was previously on the faculty of the School of Public Administration and Policy and has also served as assistant dean for Eller Executive Education. Melendez is the author of the textbook Moral Problems in Management: An Objective Model of Analysis, published in 2019.
