Dr. Rosenblatt holds a B.A. in Music piano performance) and an M.A. in Historical Musicology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in the History and Theory of Music from the University of Chicago. Dr. Rosenblatt has done extensive research on the life and music of Franz Liszt and is responsible for uncovering a new Liszt piano concerto. His edition of the Liszt Concerto in E-flat Major for Piano and Orchestra, op. posth. has been published by Editio Musica Budapest in miniature score and two-piano version. He has also published articles in the Journal of the American Liszt Society and contributed chapters to The Liszt Companion Greenwood Press, 2002) Recent publications include Madeleine Dring: Lady Composer Clemson University Press) co-authored with Wanda Brister, and a critical edition of Franz Liszt's De profundis" for piano and orchestra, part of the New Edition of the Complete Works NLE) Current projects include a new edition of Liszt's Concerto in E-flat Major for Piano and Orchestra, Op.
