I completed my PhD in May 2020, in the University of Arizona's School of Geography & Development (SGD) with a PhD minor in Teaching & Teacher Education through the UA’s College of Education. My dissertation research was the first study that determined the presence and explored the experiences of people who identify as LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and additional sexual orientations and gender identities) in bioscience, specifically at the university level. My dissertation, “Inclusion of LGBTQ+ People in University Bioscience,” is indexed and available for free if you’re affiliated with a college or university. If you’re not and you still want to read it, contact me. No one should need to pay to access research done through a public university.
