Sheehan Wachter is a senior lecturer in the School of Architecture at CAPLA, and a designer specializing in digital and material techniques in architecture and sculpture. His work revolves around the application of computational techniques in design and fabrication and his background involves both material research and architectural design. He has experience working for the offices of Aranda\Lasch, Plasma Studio and Open Architecture Studio and in his current practice he works with a diverse range of artists, architects and fabricators to helrealize projects that involve complex geometry, advanced fabrication techniques and digital fabrication. He teaches a number of courses at CAPLA ranging from representation and making, to design and theory, from introduction to fundamental architectural skills, techniques and materials to classes that investigate advanced computational design and emerging materials.
