I am an Assistant Clinical Professor who joined the faculty of the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Department in July 2023. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Arizona in 2008 with minors in Spanish and Japanese. I received my Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University in 2013. A fluent speaker of Spanish, I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of bilingual and Spanish-speaking children. Prior to joining the SLHS Department, I worked as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for Sunnyside Unified School District from 2013 to 2023. I have held the Certificate of Clinical Competence CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association ASHA) since 2014.
