I am a cultural anthropologist with specialties in the areas of medical anthropology, applied anthropology, and education, and have worked on issues relating to variously marginalized youth for over fifteen years. My dissertation examined Chicana/o youth organizing and activism in Tucson across a 9-year, and my current work focuses on the articulations of gender-identification, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and age with social justice activism in the Mexican American and Puerto Rican diasporas. As well as working as a postdoctoral editorial associate with the Crossroads Collaborative, I hold a research affiliation with the Department of Mexican American Studies. I’m happy to respond to inquiries at lstauber@email.arizona.edu.
