Julianne “Jules” Leverenz, MSN, ACNP-BC joined the BSN-IH division January 2021. She completed her BSN from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2006 and was awarded a Clinical Excellence Award by UNLV’s faculty. She started her nursing career 15 years ago as an ICU nurse and worked in the Cardiothoracic ICU at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. Jules graduated from Grand Canyon University’s Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2014 and obtained her ACNP Board Certification by ANCC. In her NP role, Jules previously worked with the inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant team at Mayo Clinic Hospital, as well as with Hospice of the Valley providing home-based primary and hospice care. She currently works with MeMD as a telemedicine NP by directly treating urgent care patients across the country. Jules is happily married and enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her two children. She has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the CON by helping pave the way of future nurses while caring for those in need. During her free time, Jules enjoys time with her family and friends, riding bikes, golfing, and the beach.
