Lieutenant Colonel Michael L. Burgoyne, U.S. Army, is a Foreign Area Officer currently serving in a national level policy assignment in Washington DC. He previously served as the Army Attaché in Mexico, where he routinely traveled to the U.S.Mexico border, as well as numerous other Mexican states facing serious security challenges. He has extensive experience in the Western Hemisphere and while serving as the Andean Ridge Desk Officer at U.S. Army South he managed Army Staff Talks with the Colombian Army
