Carlos Alsua is a professor of practice in the Eller College's McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship. Alsua's global expertise has brought him to work with a number of public and private organizations on more than four continents. As an entrepreneur, his interests center in transportation and sustainable food industries. As an academic, his interests focus on globalization/glocalization processes, global entrepreneurshiand innovation, leadershiinnovation, growth mindset, global ethics and the implementation of managerial practices and entrepreneurshiin developing economies. He has held previous faculty positions at the University of Alaska, Anchorage; Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez Business School, Chile; as well as numerous visiting positions in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Russia. His research appears in academic and practitioner journals and in numerous national and international conferences.
